Uncle Ed's - best Ukrainian food in Alberta!

This is a short restaurant review of a Ukrainian tradition in Edmonton - Uncle Ed's!

It has been around since the 50s and serves amazing homemade Ukrainian staples such as beef jerky, perogies, boneless ham, borscht, pepperoni sticks... all yummy. Each year when I visit with my Aunt Noel we go - I usually get a mixed plate to try everything, as it is hard to get Ukrainian food in the other parts of the world I have lived in.

If you are ever in Edmonton, you really must try this restaurant. Super friendly staff, delicious food, homey atmosphere and a store to bring Ukrainian treats home with you!

Remember this sign!

It is always busy - try to come for late lunch or early dinner to get a table!
The company raises funds each year for Breast Cancer research

Sweet cabbage rolls (and sour) 4 types of perogies, sausage, crepes with dill sauce and a dumpling.

Was asked to sign the guest book!!! An honour :)

We always seem to have Marie as our waitress, friendly, long serving and a great fan of Celine Dion . One of many warm smiles that come with your meal!
