Day 6: Cold Lake to Edmonton, Alberta
Beginning my trek to Vancouver Island and my first day of driving was a short one to visit my Aunt Noel. I stopped at a few spots I don't normally to get photos of  "the biggest" random objects examples Canadian Public Art - which were used in the past for towns to advertise themselves and take photos in front of. Canadians from small towns understood early that you don't need to build the biggest building - just build the biggest pyrogi!
A Ukrainian Church
World's largest mushrooms
Open road

Fields ready to grow canola (rape seed) to fry fries around the world
Large duck made with tin cans
Restaurant serving a multi-cultural menu reflecting Canadian immigration
World's largest pyrogi (potato dumpling)

Dueling barns

No Italians in this part of Canada - huge fields of dandelions

More big sky and cows
